Role DescriptionThis is a full-time Senior Support Worker / Team leader role based on-site in a home in Leicestershire. The Senior Support Worker will be responsible for leading shifts, supporting their colleagues, championing safe and effective practice and overall providing nurturing, safe and creative car for our young people.

Qualifications

Strong experience in Residential Support Work and familiarity with providing care for EBD and nuerodiverse needs

Proficient Interpersonal and Communication skills for effective engagement with young people, families, other professionals and team members

Understanding of Safeguarding practices and the ability to implement them during care delivery including the Childrens Home Regulations and the Quality Standards

Technical skills related to the use of clearcare systems or the ability to learn and develop

Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members

Patience, empathy, and commitment to delivering high-quality support services

Relevant certifications in Residential Care or similar, Level 3 NVQ or above or working towards

Experience in therapeutic practices

Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the young people and work effectively as part of a team
