Job description

Are you ready to make a real difference in someone's life? We're looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our Wiltshire Service based in Semington Trowbridge, helping to oversee and deliver high‐quality support. You will report to the Registered Manager, splitting your time between hands‐on support and leadership‐administrative tasks to ensure the service runs smoothly.

About the People You'll Be SupportingYou'll support three female clients with learning disabilities and/or autism. Each person has unique needs, preferences and routines. Some enjoy active community days out, others prefer quieter home‐based activities. Your role will help them live safe, happy, and meaningful lives, while ensuring care is consistent, person‐centred and of the highest quality.

Location and HoursSemington Trowbridge. This is a full‐time role where your week will be split between providing direct support during shifts and completing leadership and administrative tasks.

Requirements

A minimum of 12 months on your right to work.

Full UK driver's licence.

Level 2 in Health and Social Care, and willingness to work towards Level 3.

Responsibilities

Encourage people to play active roles in their communities and pursue independence.

Support activities of daily living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.

Communicate effectively using people's chosen methods.

Engage and motivate people to enhance their quality of life.

Specialise in providing positive behavioural support approaches to those who may need it.

Record and report accurate information about changes in health or circumstances of service users to management.

Work as a team player, and also use your own initiative.
