Job SummaryWe are looking for experienced Band 3 Health Care Support Workers to join our established ward team at Broadford Hospital, a busy community hospital in the South of Skye. The role requires demonstrable clinical skills and involves delivering high‐standard nursing care on a mixed acute ward, including acute medical care, rehabilitation, End of Life/palliative care, and dementia care.
Responsibilities
Deliver high standard of nursing care on a mixed medical admissions ward.
Provide support to a dedicated professional nursing team.
Qualifications
Experience as a Band 3 Health Care Support Worker.
Demonstrable clinical skills required for the post.
Contract and BenefitsThe role offers both full‐time and part‐time posts, including day and night duties, with an internal rotation scheme. A bank scheme is available for those who do not wish to take a permanent contract. A driving licence is an advantage. Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‐time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours with an equivalent hourly rate increase.
