Junior Clinical FellowThe closing date is 18 May 2026

We have opportunities at the Trust for F3 / Core level doctors to gain experience in 12‐month, mixed rotational posts in Medicine. The posts commence from 05 August 2026.

The rotations are:

Respiratory / General Internal Medicine

General Internal Medicine

Geriatrics / Acute Frailty Medicine

Geriatrics / Respiratory

All of the above posts have no on‐call commitments associated with them.

Some aspects of the role can be bespoke to the individual needs of the post‐holder and tailored to take into account previous relevant experience, or achievement of requirements for application to specialty training.

We are advertising simultaneously for several roles as noted above. If you wish to be considered for multiple rotations, please indicate which in your supporting statement.

Job responsibilitiesThe main duties are described in the attached job descriptions and person specifications, which give a comprehensive overview of the responsibilities for these roles.

Qualifications

MBBS/MBChB or equivalent medical qualification.

ALS certification.

GMC registration with licence to practise.

MCRP part 1, 2 or full MRCP.

Experience

Completion of UK Foundation Training programme or FY3 equivalent post in Emergency Medicine in the UK.

At least 6 months of worked experience in the NHS.

Evidence of interest in, and experience of teaching.

Additional experience at SHO level.

Core medical training.

Previous experience of using online patient record system e.g., nervecenter, EMRAD/PACS.

Skills

Basic IT skills.
