Overview Ward 44 is a 30 bedded combined unit consisting of Gastroenterology and Colorectal surgical specialties. The successful applicant will be joining a well motivated and dynamic multi-disciplinary team who strive to deliver the highest level of care. The unit is forward-thinking and committed to teamwork that benefits the patient and improves their journey.Responsibilities Work different shift patterns over 7 days, meeting physical demands including patient manual handling.Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.Participate in training as required.Qualifications Recent acute inpatient experience.Active interest in working within an acute hospital setting and the ability to rise to the challenge of a fast‐paced environment.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Additional Information A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.NHS Scotland is legally obliged to ensure all employees are entitled to work in the United Kingdom.
