Myriad is hiring a Sales Executive in Chelmsford and we are looking for someone looking to build their sales career.
We are a sales and marketing company that helps some of the UK's most recognisable brands grow and connect with their customers. Our Sales Executive role is for someone who already knows they are good at selling and wants to be somewhere that gives them the platform, the clients and the earning potential to prove it.
What the role involves
You will be working directly with customers on behalf of our clients, driving new business and delivering the kind of sales performance that makes a real commercial difference. This is a field based, face-to-face role and the standard we expect from our Sales Executives reflects the calibre of the brands we represent.
- Engaging with customers directly and converting those conversations into sales through product knowledge, professionalism and genuine rapport.
- Managing your own pipeline and taking full ownership of your individual targets and results.
- Representing Myriad and our clients with the credibility, energy and personal standards that our reputation demands.
- Staying sharp on product knowledge, market activity and client objectives so every customer interaction you have is informed and impactful.
- Using performance feedback and coaching to continuously refine your approach and grow your earnings.
- Progressing into senior sales and management positions through Myriad's internal promotion pathway as your results demonstrate your readiness.
What we are looking for
- You have a proven ability to sell and a track record of hitting targets, whether that comes from a formal sales background or a customer facing role where commercial results mattered.
- You are self motivated and take personal accountability for your performance without needing to be chased or managed closely.
- You are confident, well presented and able to command a conversation in a way that builds trust and moves towards a close naturally.
- You understand the difference between selling at someone and selling for someone, and you consistently do the latter.
- You are resilient, consistent and bring the same level of professionalism to a difficult day as you do to a good one.
- Experience in direct sales, field sales, retail sales or any commercially driven customer facing environment is strongly preferred.
