Creative Account Manager

Vanilla Recruitment is looking for a Creative Account Manager

Job description

We’re delighted to be partnering with a leading creative and marketing services business, to recruit a Creative Account Manager.

This role has been created due to continued growth on one of their largest and most exciting client accounts. You’ll join a highly collaborative client services team, working at the heart of campaign delivery across a full mix of channels.

This is a classic agency-side Account Manager role, focused on client relationships, campaign leadership and commercial growth rather than day-to-day project execution.

  • Salary negotiable
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Hybrid working model – typically 4 days on-site (office or client) and 1 day remote
  • Based in Mansfield, with regular travel to a London-based client, all travel expenses covered
  • Annual salary review
  • Additional company benefits and schemes

The Role

Working closely with an Account Director, you’ll act as a key contact for your client, ensuring campaigns are delivered seamlessly and to the highest standard.

  • Building strong, trusted relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Acting as the ‘face of the agency’ and an extension of the client’s marketing team
  • Leading client briefs and translating them into clear, actionable direction for internal teams
  • Overseeing multiple campaigns with a ‘helicopter view’ across activity
  • Collaborating with project managers, who manage delivery and execution
  • Managing integrated campaigns across print, digital, social, film and more
  • Identifying opportunities to grow accounts and expand services
  • Problem-solving proactively and responding to briefs at pace
  • You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring work aligns with client objectives whilst driving innovation and added value

About You

We’re looking for a confident, commercially aware Account Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.

  • Proven experience in an Account Manager role within a creative or integrated agency (or transferable client-side experience)
  • Strong client relationship management skills, including senior stakeholder engagement
  • Experience delivering integrated campaigns across multiple channels
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability
  • Commercial awareness, including budgeting and account growth opportunities
  • Confidence collaborating with cross-functional teams
