£32,000 – £42,000 DOE

Full-time / Part-time

We are recruiting for an experienced and compassionate Play Therapist to join a specialist education provider supporting children and young people with SEND, SEMH, autism, trauma and emotional wellbeing needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by helping young people process emotions, build resilience, and improve engagement in education through therapeutic play.

The Role

You will:

✔ Deliver 1:1 and group play therapy sessions

✔ Support learners with trauma, anxiety, attachment and emotional regulation needs

✔ Contribute to EHCP outcomes and therapeutic intervention plans

✔ Work closely with pastoral, safeguarding and education teams

✔ Support children in a specialist school environment

About You

✔ Qualified Play Therapist

✔ Registered with BAPT / PTUK (preferred)

✔ Experience supporting children and young people

✔ Background in SEND / SEMH / ASD / trauma-informed practice

✔ Strong safeguarding knowledge and therapeutic boundaries
