Clinical Negligence Solicitor | Manchester | Hybrid Working | Up to £65,000 + Bonus


We are currently instructed on a number of claimant and defendant clinical negligence opportunities in Manchester. These roles are with recognised national law firms who are looking to recruit at roughly 1–6 PQE. They also offer a range of hybrid working options as well as the opportunity to work remotely depending on your level of PQE.


In terms of the work, these are excellent opportunities to work on high-quality, complex clinical negligence matters within a supportive and collaborative environment, with genuine opportunities for development and progression. So whether you have worked from a claimant or defendant perspective, we would like to hear from you.


High-quality medical negligence work


The successful candidates can expect to be working on a broad range of serious and life-changing cases, including:


• Birth injury claims

• Brain and spinal injury cases

• Surgical negligence matters

• Misdiagnosis and delayed diagnosis claims

• Fatal claims and inquests

• Complex multi-track litigation


You can expect direct client contact from an early stage and play an active role in progressing through highly complex clinical negligence matters.

We are keen to speak with solicitors from claimant or defendant backgrounds, as well as candidates with experience in related areas such as personal injury or EL/PL litigation who are looking to specialise in clinical negligence.


Background


You will ideally have:


• 1–6 years’ PQE in either claimant or defendant clinical negligence work

• Strong drafting and analytical skills

• A client-focused and empathetic approach

• Good organisational and case management ability

• A genuine interest in clinical negligence and healthcare litigation
