Are you a school or LA HR Officer keen to move into a role with trust-wide impact? Or an experienced HR Administrator ready to take the next step in your career?

Keen to join a collaborative team in a growing MAT, with a bright future?

This might be the role you’re searching for…

Hollingworth Learning Trust is expanding its central team and looking for an HR Advisor to support schools across the Trust with responsive and people-focused HR support.

This role would particularly suit:

  • School HR Officers looking to broaden their experience
  • Local Authority HR Advisors keen to make a bigger impact
  • Experienced MAT HR Administrators ready for their next step

You’ll join a collaborative central team supporting a growing Trust where no two days look the same. You will:

  • Advise managers and staff on day-to-day HR matters
  • Support ER casework including absence management, disciplinaries and grievances
  • Lead safer recruitment processes and KCSIE compliance
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and policy development
  • Build relationships with school-based HR colleagues across the Trust
  • Deliver guidance and training to school staff
  • Contribute to wider HR improvement projects as the Trust grows, including the development of the trust wide people strategy

This is a hands-on HR role with real variety and visibility across the organisation.

What we’re looking for:

  • At least one year of HR experience within education
  • CIPD Level 5
  • Strong understanding of safer recruitment and school compliance
  • Experience supporting managers and handling HR queries
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A practical, organised and solution-focused approach

Why join Hollingworth Learning Trust?

  • Broad exposure across multiple schools within a growing Trust
  • A supportive and experienced HR team
  • Flexibility around working pattern and hours
  • Opportunity to develop advisory and casework experience
  • LGPS pension scheme

The Trust’s values - Ambitious, Positive, Resilient, Reflective and Principled, alongside their people first ethos - underpin its approach to supporting schools, staff and pupils. If this sounds like a journey you would like to be part of, they would love to hear from you.
