What You'll Do

Offer trauma‐informed care to ensure young people are safe and supported

Build strong, positive, and trusting relationships

Promote healthy routines and essential life skills

Support education, prepare meals, and accompany children to appointments

Advocate for their voice — ensuring they feel heard and valued

Transport young people to activities or appointments using your own car

Help them move forward with hope and confidence

What We're Looking For

Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary)

A full UK driving licence and access to a car

Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience

Flexibility to work varied shifts (including weekends, sleep‐ins, and waking nights)

A clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

A relevant qualification (such as NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care or equivalent) is preferred but not essential — full training is provided.

What You'll ReceiveCompetitive pay: £17.50 – £28.00 per hour (depending on shift type)

Extensive training: 21 online modules plus in‐person courses in safeguarding, trauma‐informed practice, positive behaviour support, and PACE training
