Role SummaryMilk Education, a wellbeing‐led and eco‐friendly education agency, is recruiting psychology graduates to join a specialist SEMH school. The role provides frontline experience supporting vulnerable young people with emotional, behavioural and social needs, while developing therapeutic and intervention skills for future clinical careers.

Your Experience Will Include

Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, confidence and social interaction

Assisting staff with behaviour support and therapeutic intervention strategies

Working 1:1 and in small groups to improve engagement and attainment

Supporting pupils with sensory, emotional and behavioural needs

Encouraging participation in sport, cooking, creative arts and life‐skills activities

Helping students develop coping mechanisms, routines and independence

Supporting restorative conversations and positive conflict resolution

Gaining experience in trauma‐informed practice, safeguarding and SEMH intervention

Learning how therapeutic approaches are used within specialist education settings

Ideal Candidate / Qualifications

Psychology graduates or graduates in related social sciences

Aspiring occupational therapists, forensic psychologists, clinical psychologists and mental health practitioners

Individuals passionate about supporting vulnerable young people

Calm, resilient and emotionally intelligent candidates
