OverviewPosition: Support/Care Worker – Permanent. Based at Coach House, Morecambe, Lancashire, Lifeways Group. Salary: £13.45 per hour. Shift pattern: Sessional/bank hours from 8:00am to 10:00pm, Monday‐Sunday, rotational shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and sleep‐ins.
ResponsibilitiesYou'll provide person‐centred, recovery‐focused support to individuals living with a wide range of mental health conditions. You will help build confidence, develop life skills, and achieve greater independence in a modern supported living environment, with 24‐hour support available.
Qualifications & Experience
Genuine interest in supporting people with diverse needs
Commitment to delivering high‐quality, person‐centred care
Strong communication skills and basic IT proficiency
Willingness to learn and grow professionally
Experience in care or support work is an advantage but not essential – full training will be provided
Holding or working towards an NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care is desirable

About Coach HouseCoach House is a purpose‐built supported living service offering 9 spacious, light‐filled single‐bedroom apartments, each with modern kitchens, bathrooms, and CCTV for security. 24/7 support is available and bespoke recovery plans are tailored to each individual, enabling them to take control of their recovery journey. The setting is located in a vibrant residential area of Morecambe with easy access to shops, transport links, and community amenities.
