Job summaryNeural Pathways has a unique part‐time opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and supportive team in Northamptonshire and Leicestershire. We're looking for a dedicated professional with at least 3 years experience who is motivated to work across all areas of neurological rehabilitation.

What you'll be doing

Provide comprehensive assessment, advice, and treatment of clients following life‐changing catastrophic injury

Maintain a small independent caseload providing Occupational Therapy assessment and therapy for patients with complex rehabilitation needs

Provide Occupational Therapy as part of the multidisciplinary team, and be involved in interdisciplinary team service developments, meetings and audit as appropriate

Work to develop a neuro technology offering for our clients; engage with solicitors and case managers to monitor and track client progress and outcomes

Provide supervision, support and training to junior team members, Therapy Assistants and students as required

Maintain client records and collect activity data/statistics in accordance with company policy

Work in accordance with the HCPC professional practice, ensuring practice is evidence based and in line with national clinical standards

Maintain a professional development portfolio in line with HCPC registration requirements

Keep abreast of evidence‐based practice in Occupational Therapy through relevant reading, attending in‐service training and external courses

Be actively involved in research and/or audit activity as directed by the Senior Occupational Therapist

Keep people safe from any harm and protect their human rights

Qualifications

HCPC registration

Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car

Experience

3 years postgraduate work experience

Experience of working within an neurological rehabilitation setting
