The RoleThe Respiratory Physiology Service provides routine & specialized services to the population of Greater Glasgow & Clyde. The post holder will be required to perform basic/specialist diagnostic investigations, sterilization of equipment and general administrative duties for the respiratory laboratories within GGCHB. Trainee position would be considered. The post holder must be able to travel to sites across GG&C to provide diagnostic tests on a rotational basis.

Duration, Location, and Working PatternThis is a permanent, full-time post of 36 hours per week.

Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job

BSc Clinical Physiology (preferable) or relevant degree (essential)

ARTP Part 1 or ARTP Practitioner qualification or equivalent (desirable)

ARTP Spirometry Certificate (desirable)

Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages as previously noted (essential)

Previous experience working within a health care setting (desirable)

Full training for the scope of the role will be provided to the successful candidate. Essential NHS training (such as Moving and Handling) will also be provided.
