Support Worker
Earn £13.45 per hour, £26,300 per annum (pro rota) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan.
Permanent, part time (30 hpw), rota system with a Sunday every other weekend.

Responsibilities
Supporting customers with promoting independence, encouraging them to carry out daily tasks.
Working with a diverse range of customers who have experience homelessness with a variety of support needs including but not limited to mental/physical health, offending and substance misuse.
Encouraging independence and celebrating wins.
Creating a safe, positive space where dignity and respect come first.
Working collaboratively to empower our customers.
Qualifications
Passion to support our customers to live their best lives.
Experience of caring for others, professionally or personally.
The ability to work on your own initiative, staying calm and positive under pressure.
Recognise every customer is different and adopt a flexible, personal approach, listening to understand their needs.
A Level 2 diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or willing to study towards it).

Practical Bits
Rota system with weekend working, one Sunday every two weeks, a mixture of 8-4 & 12-8 shifts during the week.
You need an Enhanced DBS with barring list (we pay).
Based at our Wilkinson House service, a 9 bed hostel.
Holding a caseload of customers providing effective support using our support planning model.
Sometimes we close a job early, so don't delay or you might miss out.
