LocationUniversity Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, Royal Stoke in Stoke‐on‐Trent and County Hospital in Stafford.

Qualifications

GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or Level 2 Functional Skills for Maths and English. (For overseas equivalents, provide an ECCTIS comparability statement and original certificate.)

Full Care Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care from an accredited awarding body.

Experience12 months experience in a professional contract as a Healthcare Assistant or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide essential clinical care to patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.

Carry out delegated clinical duties including recording patient observations, performing ECG monitoring, urinalysis, pregnancy testing, bladder scanning, venepuncture (training provided), and supporting patients with ADLs.

Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive documentation of all clinical activities.

Communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and with patients and families.

Working PatternsFull‐time and part‐time positions available. Flexibility required to work a variety of shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and nights.

Salary£25,760 to £27,476 per annum, pro rata.
