We are a supportive Specialist School in Wokingham seeking an enthusiastic Autism Support Worker to join our team immediately. The successful Autism Support Worker will support pupils with ASD, sensory needs, and associated learning difficulties.
Responsibilities
Deliver tailored 1:1 support for pupils with autism
Support communication and social development
Create a structured and nurturing classroom environment
Encourage independence and confidence
Work closely with teaching staff and therapists
Qualifications
Previous SEN experience or a strong interest in autism support
Training & DevelopmentThe school provides specialist training and continuous professional development opportunities.
