We are looking for a Senior Support Worker to join our team at Victoria House in Rushden. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to service users, using the latest care technology to spend more time with them. Victoria House is highly valued for its care provision.

Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.

Keep line managers informed of residents' needs and progress.

Follow guidelines and policies and write up care plans.

Provide flexible, patient, caring support to older people in residential care.

Qualifications

Previous experience working with older people in residential care.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Completed or working towards the QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).

Training & DevelopmentWe provide full training, including a leadership programme to support development and opportunities for progression within Shaw.

Shift timesBank 0hr contract. As/when required.
