Care AssistantDean Wood Care Home, Warren Road, Woodingdean, Brighton, BN2 6DA

Pay: £13.10 - £14.10 per hour depending on experience.

Flexibility required with days, including alternate weekends.

Job SummaryAs a Care Assistant, you'll provide person‐centred care that supports independence and honours choice, delivering the highest standards of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.

Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure documenting and reporting any changes in accordance with legislation.

Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.

Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.

Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements.

What We're Looking For

Motivation, positivity, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.
