SEN Support Worker - Secondary Education - Taunton
Location: Taunton
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16.00 (15.05 Fridays)
Pay: 14.66 - 16.00 per hour (dependent on PAYE or Umbrella)
Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Worker to join a supportive secondary school in Taunton. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs.
The Role:
Supporting students with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and social/emotional needs
Working closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored interventions
Providing one-to-one and small group support
Assisting with classroom activities and behaviour management
Promoting inclusion and emotional wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or other settings)
A calm, patient and resilient approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for supporting young people
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
Right to work in the UK
