Overview An exciting job opportunity for a dedicated Senior Support Worker to work in a care home based in the Brooke, Norwich area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers.This care home really gets to know the residents and the staff pride themselves on offering the highest quality care tailored to their needs.NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is required to be considered for this position.Responsibilities Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residentsConduct formal supervisions and appraisalsContribute to care planning and coaching support workersTake an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiriesParticipate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentationBe responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of careBe responsible for administrating medication to the residents in accordance with policies and proceduresRequirements / Preferred skills Proven experience of working in a care settingA good team playerGood verbal and written communication skillsHave a genuine desire to care for othersSalary and hours GBP16.00 per hour (GBP29,952 per annum).
