Children's Residential Support Worker

£28,392 - £33,025 per annum

3 x 14-hour shifts per week (7:45am - 10:00pm)

Are you passionate about making a real and lasting difference in the lives of children and young people? We're looking for dedicated and resilient Children's Residential Support Worker to join our caring and committed team at a children's residential home in Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex.

About the Role:As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you'll be an essential part of a supportive and structured environment, helping young people feel safe, valued, and empowered. You'll be there through daily routines, challenging moments, and everything in between – always leading with care, consistency, and compassion.

Rota:

3 x 14-hour shifts per week

Shift time: 7:45am – 10:00pm

Stable and consistent rota pattern for a great work‐life balance

Key Responsibilities:

Building positive relationships and acting as a trusted adult for young people

Supporting children with daily routines, activities, and emotional well‐being

Promoting independence, life skills, and positive behaviour

Recording accurate logs, reports, and contributing to care planning

Collaborating with your team and professionals to ensure high‐quality care

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people (residential experience desirable)

Compassionate, reliable, and confident in challenging situations

Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills

Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
