Pay Scale: £90.00 - £105.00 per day

A specialist school in Thatcham is seeking a dedicated Autism Support Worker to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Autism Support Worker to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated needs in a structured and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

Delivering tailored support to pupils with autism

Assisting with communication and social interaction development

Supporting sensory and emotional regulation needs

Creating a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

Working alongside teachers, therapists, and support staff

Qualifications / Ideal CandidateThe successful Autism Support Worker will provide both 1:1 and small group support, helping students develop key life skills, communication abilities, and confidence. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with autism or a strong interest in SEN and a proactive, patient approach.
