Job OverviewSenior Support Worker – Respite Service (Full Time)Location: Erith, KentWe are seeking an experienced, motivated professional to provide high‐quality, short‐term support to three women with learning disabilities and/or autism. The role involves hands‐on care combined with leadership and administrative duties under the guidance of the Registered Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver person‐centred care and support during short stays, ensuring a welcoming and structured environment.

Encourage independent participation in community activities and promote autonomy.

Support activities of daily living: personal care, social activities, routines, meal planning and budgeting.

Communicate effectively using the chosen methods of each service user.

Motivate and engage users to enhance their quality of life.

Apply positive behavioural support techniques where needed.

Maintain accurate records and report changes in health or circumstances to management.

Work collaboratively as part of a team while exercising independent initiative.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 12 months on your right to work in the UK.

Full UK Driver's Licence.

Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care; willingness to progress to Level 3.
