We are recruiting experienced Agency Support Workers to work within a specialist mental health service based in Kewstoke.This role involves supporting adults in a structured therapeutic environment. The successful candidate must be confident working in settings where individuals may present behaviours that challenge and must be able to remain calm, professional, and resilient at all times.Key Responsibilities Support service users with personal care and daily living activitiesPromote dignity, independence and recovery-focused careFollow care plans and risk assessmentsUse PMVA techniques where requiredObserve, record and report behavioural or physical changesMaintain accurate documentationWork collaboratively with nursing and clinical teamsAdhere to safeguarding and health & safety policiesEssential Criteria Up-to-date Mandatory TrainingValid PMVA certificateOliver McGowan Tier 1 & Tier 2Immunisations: Varicella, MMR, TB & Hep BMinimum 6 months UK healthcare or hospital experienceStrong communication and teamwork skillsFlexible availability (days, nights, weekends)Compliance Requirements Right to Work in the UKEnhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)Satisfactory employment referencesWhy Join Us?
