Behaviour Support Worker £110–£120 per day | Primary & Secondary SEMH School | Lewisham AreaStart Date: ASAPWe are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Worker to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in the Lewisham area. This is a contract position supporting pupils across both primary and secondary phases who present challenging behaviour.About the Role Provide 1:1 and small-group behaviour supportImplement de-escalation strategies and behaviour management plansWork closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral leadsSupport pupils with SEMH needs to engage positively in learningHelp create a safe, structured and encouraging environmentWhat We're Looking For Essential: Experience working with challenging behaviour (SEMH, PRU, youth work, residential, or similar)Strong resilience, patience, and a calm approachAbility to build trusting relationships with pupilsConfident in using behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniquesAvailable to start ASAPSupportive and collaborative school team
