We support people in their own homes, providing specialist 1-2-1 care for clients with complex health needs.About the Role We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Complex Care Assistant to support a young person in Liverpool who is living with a brain injury. This is a 1-2-1 role in the client\'s own home and out in the community, supporting them to live as full and independent a life as possible.This is a set weekly commitment — one shift every Saturday from 09:30 to 18:30.What You'll Be Doing Providing dedicated 1-2-1 support to a young person with an acquired brain injurySupporting with personal care, daily routines, and clinical needs as outlined in the care planDriving the client to activities and appointments, supporting them to access the community safelyMonitoring and responding to changes in the client\'s conditionFollowing detailed care plans created by our clinical teamBuilding a consistent, trusting relationship with the client and their familyMaintaining accurate care records and documentationWhat We\'re Looking For Essential:Extensive experience supporting individuals with brain injuries — this is a specialist role and we need someone who understands the complexities involvedFemale (genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010)A full valid UK driving licence and access to a car for work — you will be driving the clientThe right to work in the UK without needing employer supportExperience working with children or young people is highly desirableReliable, patient, and able to commit to every SaturdayA warm, engaging approach — this is about supporting a young person\'s quality of life, not just meeting clinical needsDesirable:NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social CareExperience working with adolescents with neurological conditionsUnderstanding of rehabilitation and neuro-behavioural supportWhat We Offer Specialist complex care training through the Routes Academy programmeDedicated clinical on-call team available 24/7Regular clinical supervision and competency assessmentsWellbeing and mental health supportStaff referral scheme with generous incentives (up to £250 per referral)You\'ll work alongside employed Routes care workers only — we don\'t use agency staffReady to Make a Difference?
