Senior Support Worker – Days

£13.00 per hour

Contracted to 46 hours per week, worked over 4 days

Day shifts only

Pension, paid DBS, uniform provided

Onsite parking

5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role OverviewAs a Senior Support Worker, you will lead shifts and support the wider team to deliver high quality, person‐centred care within a structured and supportive environment. Your role will focus on ensuring consistency, safety and a positive atmosphere across the home.

You will support residents with personal care, mobility and daily routines, promoting independence, dignity and choice at all times. You will oversee care delivery, ensuring support plans are followed accurately and that any changes in residents' needs are recognised and responded to appropriately.

You will take responsibility for medication management, ensuring safe administration and accurate documentation. Working closely with the management team, you will support team development, communication and the overall quality of the service.

Your role will have a direct impact on residents' wellbeing, confidence and quality of life.

What We Are Looking For

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is essential, or working towards Level 3

Medication administration experience and competency

Previous experience in a senior or leadership role

A calm, compassionate and person‐centred approach

Strong communication, leadership and teamwork skills
