The ServiceA purpose-built residential service designed to meet the complex needs of adults with autism and associated conditions. The service includes:

All accommodation consists of large, modern, self-contained individual apartments which include lounge/dining room, Kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.

High-quality, person centred care and support, developing bespoke pathways for all.

Non-restrictive assistive technology supporting safe care and promoting independence.

SMART homes which are robust, safe, energy-efficient, technologically advanced and adaptable to meet each person's needs.

The RoleAs a Senior Support Worker , you'll take a lead role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support during daytime hours. You'll support individuals to live with greater independence and dignity, while guiding and mentoring your team to ensure consistent, compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the day team in delivering tailored care and support

Promote independence and choice through meaningful activities and routines

Build strong relationships with individuals, families, and professionals

Support with personal care, emotional wellbeing, and daily living skills

Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning

Ensure the environment remains safe, clean, and welcoming

Uphold Autism Pathways' values and promote a person-centred approach

What We're Looking For

Experienced and confident in supporting individuals with autism and complex needs

Leadership skills – able to guide and support a team effectively

Empathetic and proactive – passionate about making a difference

Reliable and resilient – able to manage behaviours and respond to challenges

Organised and detail-oriented – with strong observation and reporting skills

Flexible – willing to work a variety of shifts including weekends

Committed to development – open to training and progression opportunities

Experience in autism, learning disabilities, or complex behavioural needs is essential. A Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
