We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team within specialist medicine supporting the clinical secretarial team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of our services and play a vital role in supporting patient care.
In this role, you'll be proof-reading and editing clinical letters and reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity in patient communications. You'll also carry out basic administrative tasks as needed, helping to keep things organised and efficient. You'll be part of a team that works behind the scenes to support clinicians and improve patient experience.

Experience with NHS systems or in a healthcare setting is an advantage, but not essential - we're happy to train the right person who's eager to learn.

The main duty of the job is proof reading and editing clinical correspondence which has been transcribed by speech recognition software. Additional duties may include post runs, scanning, answering phone calls and general admin duties.
It is essential that you are able to demonstrate good interpersonal, verbal and written skills and have a "can do" attitude.
