Reception Teaching Assistant (Creative Graduates Welcome!) (EYFS TA) Tower Hamlets, EnglandA vibrant and inclusive primary school in the heart of Tower Hamlets is looking for a Reception Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. JOB DESCRIPTION

Reception Teaching Assistant

Support children aged 4–5 in their first year of formal education

Assist with phonics, early reading, and writing development

Deliver and support engaging, play-based learning activities

Use your creativity through arts, storytelling, music, and role play

Help build children's confidence, communication, and social skills

Work closely with teachers and EYFS staff to create a nurturing environment

ASAP Start

Full-time / Term Time Only

Located in Tower Hamlets

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Creative graduate (Arts, Drama, English, Psychology, Music or similar)

Experience working with children, ideally within Early Years or Reception

Understanding of phonics and early literacy (or is eager to develop this)

Energetic, proactive, and nurturing in their approach
