He is non-verbal but fully understands communication and values carers who are calm, patient, respectful, and person-centred in their approach.This is a rewarding opportunity to support an intelligent and sociable individual who enjoys music, theatre, sports, sensory activities, swimming, arts and crafts, holidays, and spending time outdoors.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Complex Carer with Coyle Homecare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to service users. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities for this package:Provide high-quality, person-centred complex care within the home environmentDeliver cuff tracheostomy care including suctioning and airway monitoringAdminister JEJ feeds, medications, and water flushes safelySupport PEG venting and monitor reflux, secretions, constipation, and seizuresAssist with personal care, repositioning, bathing, oral care, and skin integrity checksUse hoists and specialist equipment safelyMaintain accurate records and escalate concerns appropriatelySupport communication, emotional wellbeing, dignity, and community accessRemain vigilant to prevent tube dislodgement, falls, airway compromise, and injuryRequirementsEssential:Experience in complex care, community care, ICU, rehabilitation, or similar settingsCuff tracheostomy and suctioning experienceKnowledge of epilepsy management and enteral feedingStrong observation and communication skillsCalm, compassionate, and proactive approachAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary care teamBenefits of Working for Coyle Homecare:As well as receiving the competitive pay rates of £16.00 - £20.00ph , all our carers alsobenefitfrom flexible working hours, with shifts available during the day and night, from Monday to Sunday.
