About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Support Worker (Female) to join a residential care service supporting adults with mental health conditions. This is a full‐time, day‐shift position within a warm, supportive home environment where you will play a key role in ensuring high‐quality, person‐centred care.

You will support the management team, lead shifts, mentor junior staff and contribute to creating a safe, empowering and therapeutic setting for residents.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support staff during shifts

Provide high‐quality, person‐centred care

Support residents with daily living, emotional wellbeing and independence

Administer medication (if trained) and maintain accurate records

Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and service policies are followed

Work collaboratively with the wider care team and external professionals

Promote a positive, respectful and supportive environment

Requirements

Female applicants only (Genuine Occupational Requirement)

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to update)

Experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions

Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills

Ability to work full‐time day shifts

Able to start as soon as possible

Compassionate, reliable and confident in a senior role
