Mental Health Support Worker

Are you a kind, energetic and passionate person looking for a career in the Mental Health Sector? We are currently looking for a caring individual to join our dedicated staff team as a Support Worker in Accrington, Lancashire. Our service provides quality, personalised care and support to individuals with mental health needs in their own homes, the community, or a supported living scheme. No two days will be the same in this role. You will be involved in supporting people to enjoy a fulfilling life by engaging in activities such as meals out, swimming, cooking and baking, exercising, arts and crafts and gardening.

Role Responsibilities

Enable the people we support to become as independent as possible and promote confidence and competence in areas such as social skills/relationships, daily living skills, social, leisure, finances and work activities.

Medication administration

Promote self‐esteem, happiness and emotional wellbeing of service users.
