Senior Commercial Manager | HS2 Old Oak Common | London

A leading Tier 1 contractor, operating as part of a joint venture, is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to oversee the commercial delivery of complex Civil Engineering and MEP packages on one of the UK's most significant transport infrastructure projects - building a major new railway station that connects HS2 with the Elizabeth line and National Rail services

Upon completion, the new station will boast six underground platforms and up to eight platforms on the adjacent Great Western Main Line. Old Oak Common will also provide high speed rail services to the Midlands, central London, Scotland and the North, as well as direct services to three major airports.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for the commercial and contractual performance of key work packages, leading activities from procurement through to final account. This role requires strong commercial leadership, effective risk management, and the ability to develop and lead a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of complex Civils and MEP packages.
• Oversee cost control, change management, contractual compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Provide commercial leadership across multiple workstreams.
• Build, mentor, and lead a successful commercial team.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering complex MEP packages on major infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual expertise within large-scale projects.
