Job description
We are currently seeking skilled and motivated Class 2 HGV Drivers/Jetting Operatives based out of our Highbridge Depot to join our dynamic team working across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. Youll be working on a variety of small and large-diameter sewer cleaning projects, including culverts and outfalls.
More about the role:
- Operating and driving Class 2 HGV vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Adhering to all relevant road traffic regulations and safety protocols.
- Conducting routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Utilising high-pressure jetting equipment to clean and clear sewer lines and drainage systems.
- Operating specialist jetting machinery and tools with precision and care.
- Assessing and diagnosing blockages, obstructions, and drainage issues.
- Implementing appropriate jetting techniques to effectively resolve problems.
The ideal candidate will possess an up-to-date CPC driver card, and while experience in high-pressure water jetting or tankering would be advantageous, we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success in the role.
Holding qualifications such as PTS (City & Guilds) Confined Space Entry, NRSWA (Street works), and a valid CSCS card would also be highly beneficial.
