Job description

Internal Recruiter & Compliance Manager

Waltham Abbey
£35,000 - £40,000 per year
Full Time

The Dwelling Doctors are one of the UKs fastest-growing property care and environmental treatment specialists. We work with housing associations, councils and private clients across London and the South East, delivering high-quality mould remediation, damp treatment and property restoration works.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly organised, proactive and driven Internal Recruiter & Compliance Manager to take ownership of all recruitment, onboarding and workforce compliance across the business.

This is a key position within the company and an opportunity to build and shape our internal recruitment and compliance processes within a fast-growing organisation.

Important About This Role

This is an internal recruitment and compliance position, not an external recruitment agency or sales-based role.

We are looking for someone who can help us build a strong long-term workforce, improve retention, maintain compliance standards, and support the growth of the business over time.

This role is focused on:

  • Long-term recruitment strategy

This is not a KPI-driven sales recruitment environment and there is no cold calling or business development involved.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in organisation, people management, standards and building a strong company culture.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing the full internal recruitment and workforce compliance process for operatives, supervisors and office staff across the business.

You will work closely with management to ensure we recruit high-quality people efficiently, maintain full workforce compliance, and keep all training and certification records fully up to date.

You will become a key part of the companys growth strategy and help professionalise our onboarding, people and compliance systems as the business continues to expand.

Systems & Process Management

  • Improving onboarding and compliance processes
  • Helping implement and manage HR/compliance systems
  • Producing weekly recruitment and compliance reports
  • Supporting the development of company policies and procedures
  • Helping improve retention and employee engagement

What Were Looking For

  • Previous experience in internal recruitment, HR administration or compliance management
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Confident communicator with a professional approach
  • Good IT and administration skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset

What We Offer

  • Long-term career progression opportunities
  • Opportunity to build and shape the department
  • Supportive management team
