About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Meat Production Operativeto join a busy food production facility in Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are looking for stable, full-time employment.

The role involves packing and preparing a variety of meat products, including burgers, chicken breasts, bacon, sausages, and other fresh and cooked meat products, ensuring all products meet quality and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Packing meat products into trays, boxes, and retail packaging
• Handling products such as burgers, chicken breasts, bacon, sausages, and other meat items
• Conducting visual quality checks on products before packing
• Labelling and preparing products for dispatch
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
• Following company procedures and health & safety regulations
• Keeping work areas clean and organised
• Working efficiently to meet daily production targets

Requirements

• Previous production, food manufacturing, warehouse, or packing experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work in a CHILLED ENVIRONMENT
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
• Flexible approach to duties as required by the business
