Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Working Hours: Saturday and Sunday - Day shift
Pay Rate:£17.00 per hour

Weekend Production Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Weekend Production Supervisor to join a busy and fast-paced production environment in Corby.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supervisor who enjoys leading people, supporting daily operations, and ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, capable of motivating a small team while maintaining high standards across the production area.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a small production team during weekend operations.
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved.
• Monitor workflow and allocate resources effectively.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure adherence to health and safety procedures.
• Support team members with training, guidance, and day-to-day operational issues.
• Carry out quality checks and ensure company standards are met.
• Operate Reach or Counterbalance trucks when required.
• Communicate effectively with management and provide updates on production performance.
• Assist with problem-solving and respond quickly to operational challenges.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Production Supervisor, Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor, or similar role is essential.
• Valid Reach Truck or Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy production environment.
• A proactive approach with the ability to think on your feet and make decisions confidently.
• Hands-on attitude and willingness to support the team where needed.
