Working pattern 40 hours per week (MondayFriday, on-call requirements).

About the Role
You will play an important part in ensuring our care home remains a safe, comfortable and well maintained environment for residents, visitors and colleagues.
This is a busy and varied role in a highly regulated environment, where a 'can do' attitude, ability to prioritise and willingness to take direction are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general maintenance, repairs and decorating to a high standard
Support fire safety systems, water hygiene checks and PAT testing
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, COSHH and company policies
Maintain clear and accurate maintenance records
Liaise with contractors and support improvement projects
Assist with grounds maintenance and seasonal safety tasks
Provide occasional support to a nearby sister care home
About The Role
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking someone who:
Has previous maintenance or facilities experience
Is multi skilled and confident with general repairs
Has a can do, solution focused approach
Is able to prioritise workload and respond to direction
Works well as part of a team and contributes positively
Is reliable, flexible and approachable
Has an understanding of health and safety regulations (advantageous)
Is willing to complete required training and refresher training
Shows compassion, patience and respect when working around older and more vulnerable people
Holds a full UK driving licence (desirable)
