Combi Forklift Driver

Job description

365 People are currently recruiting for an experienced Combi Forklift Driver to join a well-established timber company based in Tyseley, Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled forklift driver with a valid Combi Forklift Licence. You will play a key role in the safe movement, loading, unloading, and storage of timber products while supporting the day-to-day running of the site.

The Role

As a Combi Forklift Driver, your duties will include:

Operating a Combi Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading timber products from vehicles
Moving stock throughout the warehouse and yard
Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
Ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely

Requirements

Valid Combi Forklift Licence (essential)
Previous experience operating a Combi Forklift Truck
Experience working within a timber, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment would be advantageous
Good understanding of health & safety procedures
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay & Overtime

£13.22 per hour

Overtime opportunities available on Fridays when workload permits.

Working Hours

Monday Thursday: 07:30am 5:15pm

Friday: 07:30am 4:00pm

The company operates 1 Friday in every 4 as standard, with overtime available on the remaining Fridays when required.
