- ll:Lead the development, implementation and continual improvement of the organisation's Health & Safety Management Syst
- em.Ensure compliance with all relevant UK health and safety legislation and recognised industry standar
- ds.Manage and maintain ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management syste
- ms.Develop, review and implement health and safety policies, procedures and safe systems of wo
- rk.Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments, ensuring effective corrective actions are implement
- ed.Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and driving preventative improvemen
- ts.Deliver health and safety training, guidance and coaching to managers and employe
- es.Produce performance reports and present key findings and recommendations to senior manageme
- nt.Support contractor management processes, including reviewing competence, risk assessments and method statemen
- ts.Assist with tender, procurement and pre-construction activities by providing health and safety expertise where requir
- ed.Promote a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture throughout the organisati
on.
About
YouTo be successful in this role, you will h
- ave:A NEBOSH National Diploma (or equivalent Level 6 Health & Safety qualificati
- on).Membership of IOSH, with Chartered status or working towards Chartered Membership being advantage
- ous.Significant experience in a Health & Safety management r
- ole.Experience implementing and managing Health & Safety Management Syst
- ems.Experience maintaining ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management syst
- ems.A strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation and practical applicat
- ion.Experience carrying out audits, inspections and incident investigati
