Registered Service Managers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We're currently searching for a fantastic Registered Service Manager to lead one of our specialist residential services in Willesden, London.This is a rare opportunity to join a service that already has so many positive foundations in place. Supporting six adults with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy and physical disabilities, the home has a genuine family feel where relationships, individuality and quality of life are at the centre of everything we do.
The service is a beautiful, welcoming home with spacious communal areas and a stunning garden, creating a warm and relaxed environment for both the people we support and the team. The people we support enjoy living active and fulfilling lives, regularly accessing local parks, cafés, community facilities and social activities, while also enjoying cooking, games and shared activities together at home.
The team are passionate about the people they support and have built strong, long-standing relationships within the home. This is a service full of potential, and we're looking for a manager who can bring fresh ideas, visible leadership and energy to help take the service to the next level.
The Role
Our Registered Service Manager will work alongside local authorities, healthcare professionals and families, whilst leading a dedicated team to ensure the people we support achieve positive outcomes, greater independence and live fulfilled lives.
- You will be responsible for:
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the service
- Leading, motivating and developing a dedicated staff team
- Developing and implementing person-centred support plans
- Conducting care needs assessments and risk asses
- smentsRecruiting, inducting and supporting new colleagues
- Completing supervisions, appraisals and performance management
- Completing medication competencies and medication audits
- Attending multi-disciplinary meetings
- Managing budgets and resources effectivelyCompleting audits, reports and quality reviews
- Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, contractual requirements and company policies
- Driving continuous improvement and embedding best practice throughout the service
Who Are We Looking For?
- We're interested in our Registered Service Manager having both the right values and the right experience.
- The ideal candidate will:Have previous experience as a Registered Manager or within a care management role
- Be willing and able to undertake CQC registration
- Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or be willing to work towards it
- Have experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities
- Have a strong understanding of quality, compliance and governance
- Be a confident leader who can inspire, motivate and develop teams
- Be resilient, organised and solutions-focused
- Bring fresh thinking and a passion for continuous improvement
