SEND Teaching Assistant | Harrow | September 2026 Are you a passionate SEND Teaching Assistant looking to support children with additional needs in a meaningful, hands-on role? About the Role | SEND Teaching Assistant

• Full-time SEND Teaching Assistant position (September 2026-July 2027)
• £460-£530 per week PAYE (term-time only)
• Support pupils with Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD) and additional needs
• Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group support
• Assist with adapted learning activities and classroom engagement
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Help build confidence, independence and communication skills

• Minimum 2:1 degree in Psychology, Education, or a related subject
• Degree from a top or highly regarded university is highly desirable
• Strong A Levels preferred

• Genuine passion for working in SEND settings
• Calm, resilient and adaptable under pressure
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
• Committed to a long-term career in education, psychology or related pathways
