Health & Safety Manager

A well-established manufacturing organisation is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to take ownership of health, safety and compliance activities across its Ayrshire operation.

This is a highly visible role reporting into senior site leadership and would suit either an experienced H&S Manager or a Senior H&S Advisor looking to progress into management.

Responsibilities include:

• Risk assessments

• COSHH management

• Incident investigations

• Audit management

• Compliance reporting

• Contractor management

• Permit to Work systems

• Environmental compliance

• Continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• NEBOSH qualified

• Manufacturing or industrial environment experience

• Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation

• Experience supporting audits and compliance activities

• Ability to work independently and influence operational teams

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 with potential flexibility for exceptional candidates.
