As an organisation, there is little we dont do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.
Join our People Services team as a Reward Assistant, providing administrative support across our pensions, reward, and benefits programmes. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate employee data, supporting reward and recognition initiatives, preparing reports, and responding to employee queries, helping to deliver an efficient and positive experience for our people.
Please note: this is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

What will you be doing?
As a Reward Assistant, you will act as the first point of contact for pension, reward, and benefits queries, providing a high-quality service to employees within a shared services environment. You'll manage incoming calls and emails, resolving queries efficiently while ensuring all interactions are accurately recorded and tracked.
You'll support the administration of our pensions and benefits offering, including maintaining accurate employee data within Oracle, processing benefits administration, supporting payroll-related activities, and ensuring compliance with National Minimum Wage regulations for salary sacrifice arrangements.
The role will also support the delivery of employee recognition schemes, produce regular reward and benefits reporting, and provide administrative assistance to the Reward Advisors and Specialists on a range of projects and initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
What youll bring:

  • Experience working in a shared services or administrative environment, with an understanding of service standards, SLAs, and escalation processes.
  • Knowledge of HR, payroll, pensions, or benefits administration and associated processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to improving processes and ways of working.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
