Vanrath are recruiting for X4 posts Band 3 Bus Driver with Caring Duties on behalf of a large public sector company in Armagh/ Craigavon/ Newry on an ongoing block booking basis. As a prominent organisation within the health and social care sector, they employ a dedicated team spanning various disciplines, all working together to improve lives. The role reports to the Transport Manager, with a team focused on safety, compassion, and efficiency What you'll do Safely operate Trust vehicles, ensuring passenger safety at all times Assist service users with boarding, alighting, and mobility, including those in wheelchairs Deliver and collect service users to various locations, including care facilities and outings Conduct daily vehicle checks and minor repairs, reporting faults promptly Support in emergency situations, including evacuations and administering first aid if needed Complete accurate journey and vehicle logs, and assist with incident reporting Participate in training sessions and the Trust's on-call rota as required About you Valid Category D (Bus) driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points Experience in transporting vulnerable persons is desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to assist service users including those with mobility aids Knowledge of road safety and basic vehicle maintenance First Aid certification is advantageous For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact Cian France for a confidential chat today.
