Operations Apprentice
Location: Sturminster, Dorset
Hours: 6:00am start (full-time)
Are you looking to start a hands-on career in the food production industry? This Operations Apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience while working towards industry-recognised qualifications in a supportive and professional environment.
You'll be part of an experienced operations team, learning essential production processes, quality standards, and safe working practices that will provide a strong foundation for a long-term career within the food manufacturing sector.
What You'll Be Doing- Learn the fundamentals of food production and operational processes.
- Work alongside experienced colleagues to develop practical skills.
- Maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and food safety.
- Follow company procedures and industry regulations at all times.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a busy operations team.
- Develop an understanding of production efficiency, quality assurance, and traceability.
- Gain knowledge of sustainability, workplace wellbeing, and industry best practices.
- Participate fully in your apprenticeship programme and complete all required training.
Throughout your apprenticeship you'll develop knowledge and practical skills in:

- No formal qualifications are required.
- Support is available to complete Level 1 Functional Skills where required (mandatory for apprentices under 19).
- A genuine interest in the food industry.
- Commitment to completing the apprenticeship programme.
- Willingness to learn, solve problems, and continually develop.
- Industry-recognised apprenticeship and qualifications.
