Teaching Assistant Permanent\n \nEpsom | Supporting Young Blind & Visually Impaired Young Adults\n Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding permanent role where you can genuinely change lives?\n \nWe are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a specialist team supporting blind and visually impaired young adults aged 1625 based at the Nescot campus in Epsom.\n \nThis is an opportunity to work in a highly specialist setting where you'll help learners overcome barriers, build confidence, develop independence and achieve their educational and personal goals.   • Providing classroom and one-to-one support to learners.
  • \n

  • Encouraging independence and promoting confidence.
  • \n

  • Supporting access to learning through adapted resources.
  • \n

  • Working closely with teachers and specialist professionals.
  • \n

  • Helping create an inclusive, positive learning environment.

\nEssential Requirements\n

    \n
  • Level 1 or Level 2 Braille qualification essential.
  • \n

  • A compassionate, patient and positive approach.
  • \n

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • \n

  • Experience supporting young people or adults with additional needs is desirable.
  • \n

  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting learners to reach their potential.
